网络管理系统的配置：集中式网络管理和分布式网络管理

1、集中式网络管理：所有代理在管理站监视和控制下协同工作，实现集成的网络管理

1. Centralized network management: all agents work together under the monitoring and control of the management station to achieve integrated network management

      管理站：NMA+|NME+APPL+COMM|+OS

Management station: NMA + | NME + appl + comm| + OS

      工作站：NME+APPL+COMM|+OS或NME|+COMM|+OS

Workstation: NME + appl + comm + OS or NME + comm + OS

      NME在工作站中充当代理模块

NME acts as an agent module in the workstation

     作用是：

The functions are as follows:

     1）收集有关通信和网络活动方面的统计信息

1) collect statistics on communication and network activities

     2）对本地设备进行测试，记录其状态信息

2) test the local equipment and record its status information

     3）在本地存储有关信息

3) store relevant information locally

     4）响应网络控制中心的请求，传送统计信息或设备状态信息

4) respond to the request of the network control center and transmit statistical information or equipment status information

     5）根据网络控制中心的指令，设置或改变设备的参数

5) set or change the parameters of the equipment according to the instructions of the network control center

2、分布式网络管理：分布式管理系统代替了单独的网络控制主机，地理上分布的网络管理客户机与一组网络管理服务器交互作用，共同完成网络管理功能。

2. Distributed network management: the distributed management system replaces the independent network control host, and the geographically distributed network management client interacts with a group of network management servers to complete the network management function together.

       优点：可以实现分部门管理：即限制每个客户机只能访问和管理本部门的部分网络资源，而由一个中心管理站实施全局管理。

Advantages: it can realize management by departments: that is, each client can only access and manage part of the network resources of its own department, while a central management station implements global management.

3、委托代理：如果被管设备不能加载代理或者不支持，可以委托代理管理。

3. Principal agent: if the managed device cannot load the agent or does not support it, it can be managed by the principal agent.

      委托代理和管理站之间运行的是标准的网络管理协议。

The standard network management protocol runs between the principal agent and the management station.
